A lawyer for lawyer Michael Davies has filed수원출장안마 an appeal against the result of a $4.75 million defamation lawsuit.
« What I’m upset about is we haven’양산출장안마t been able to get that outcome as an award of monetary damages. This is going to mean that the amount that we have won may go down, » said lawyer Matthew Rees.
Rees says Davies sued former NDP MP Olivia Chow over an anti-smoking video in 2012. He lost the case.
« I’ve spent the last few years representing people who have litigated in court and won in the end, and these costs are not a part of that, » said Rees.

Settlement talks between Chow’s lawyers and the court have also reached an agreement.
Settlement talks started with the court to reach a court ordered payout of $4.75 million for $4.7 million of Davies’s loss.
Davies’ lawyer says the court agreed to pay for his expenses as well as a lawyer’s fee.
But Rees says the court still won’t admit the matter has been settled.
The case has been adjourned to 포커October 8.
